Award-winning broadcaster and best-selling author Lynn Sherr has been covering politics and women’s issues for more than 40 years, mostly at ABC News, where she was a correspondent for World News Tonight and the newsmagazine 20/20. She currently freelances on a variety of platforms—from print to TV to digital—with her latest endeavor as cohost of the She Votes! podcast delving deeply into the women’s suffrage movement, the Nineteenth Amendment and its resonance with women today. Lynn’s work has earned her numerous honors, including Emmy, Gracie, Peabody and American Women in Radio and Television Commendation Awards.
Also acclaimed for her writing, Lynn has authored several best-selling books, including Swim: Why We Love the Water; Failure Is Impossible: Susan B. Anthony in Her Own Words; and Sally Ride: America’s First Woman in Space—a New York Times Science Best Seller and one of The Washington Post’s Best Books of the Year.
