How can I watch Viking.TV?

Can I still watch Viking.TV livestreams?
Yes. When a livestream or scheduled presentation is available, you can watch it directly on Viking.TV at the advertised time. Scheduled programs will display information about when they are due to begin. Much of Viking.TV is also available on demand, so you can explore our extensive program library whenever it suits you.
I missed a Viking.TV livestream. Can I watch it later?
Many Viking.TV programs are available on demand, allowing you to watch them at a time that suits you rather than only during their scheduled presentation. If you miss a featured or scheduled program, search Viking.TV for the program title, presenter, destination or subject to see whether an on-demand version is available.
Why do I only see a spinning circle?
If a scheduled Viking.TV presentation has not yet begun, the player may remain in a waiting state until the advertised start time. If the program should already be playing, try refreshing the page and pressing the play button again. If the problem continues, check your internet connection and ensure your web browser is up to date. You can also try another modern browser or device.
Are closed captions or subtitles available on Viking.TV?
Closed captions are available on many Viking.TV programs. Where captions are available, look for the CC icon within the Vimeo video player and select the available caption option. Caption availability can vary between programs, particularly within our extensive archive, so the CC option may not appear on every video.
Can I watch Viking.TV in full screen?
Yes. Viking.TV programs can be viewed in full screen on compatible computers, smartphones and tablets. Once a program is playing, select the full-screen icon within the video player. Why should I register for Viking.TV?
You do not need to register to watch Viking.TV. All our freely available programming can be enjoyed without creating an account or logging in. Registration is only required for certain additional account features, including reminders where available. If you simply want to explore and watch Viking.TV, you can do so immediately without registering.
How do I receive Viking.TV reminders?
To use the current reminder functionality, register or log in to your Viking.TV account and visit My Reminders. From there you can manage the reminders currently available to your account. Our programs remain free to watch without registering, so reminders are an optional feature rather than a requirement for accessing Viking.TV.
How do I delete my Viking.TV account?
If you would like your Viking.TV account deleted, please contact us at vikingfamily@viking.com and request that your account be removed. Deleting your account does not affect your ability to watch freely available Viking.TV programming, as no account or login is required to access our public program library.
Why isn't my Viking.TV video playing?
First, refresh the page and try playing the video again. Check that your internet connection is working and that you're using an up-to-date version of a modern web browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. If the problem continues, try another browser or device. You can also check whether the program is available through the official Viking.TV YouTube channel. If you're still unable to watch, contact us at vikingfamily@viking.com.
Why can't I hear any sound?
Check that the video player itself isn't muted and that the volume on your computer, smartphone, tablet or television is turned up. Some browsers and devices may initially start video playback muted. If other audio works normally on your device but you still cannot hear a particular Viking.TV program, refresh the page or try playing another program to determine whether the issue is specific to that video.
Which web browsers can I use to watch Viking.TV?
Viking.TV is designed to work with current versions of modern web browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. For the best viewing experience and improved security, we recommend keeping both your browser and device operating system up to date.
