Tom Davies

Bespoke eyewear creator Tom Davies is the founder of TD Tom Davies—a British eyewear company whose designs can fetch up to £10,000 for a pair of spectacles. He discovered a passion for eyewear design more than two decades ago when he was hired fresh out of art school to create a new eyewear range for a company in Hong Kong. He returned to the UK and founded his own company in 2002 with the idea of creating a range of made-to-measure spectacles. Two years later, a feature article in the Financial Times led to a £170,000 order which provided the cash injection for significant expansions in his business. Now, with five boutiques in London and an impressive roster of international retailers, Tom is planning to shift all production to the UK by 2021.
