Debbie Wiseman, OBE

One of the UK’s most successful female music ambassadors, Debbie Wiseman is a highly sought-after composer and conductor, awarded the OBE in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for services to the music industry. With more than 200 credits, she has produced award-winning film and TV scores—including Wolf HallWilde and Father Brown—as well as chart-topping albums. Debbie is currently Classic FM’s Composer in Residence and composed the signature music for Viking, which premiered on Classic FM Live at the Royal Albert Hall in 2017.  

Additionally, she was the official composer and musical director of the Platinum Jubilee Celebration at Windsor in May 2022. In 2025, Debbie was Guest of Honor at the 25th World Soundtrack Awards, and an album of some of her landmark work was recorded by the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra specially for the event. This album—Debbie Wiseman: Music for Film and Television—achieved the top position on the UK Specialist Classical Chart and was nominated for a 2025 International Film Music Critics Association award.
