Andrew Simon joined the farm management staff at Highclere Castle in 2008 and has held his current position since 2016. He manages the farm’s expansive arable land, primarily dedicated to cereal production, and nurtures its picturesque vineyard. He also oversees the care of the estate’s lively sheep flock and its impressive, rare breed pig herd.

Recently, his commitment to agricultural excellence was recognized when he became a finalist in the 2024 National Arable and Grassland Awards. He trained at Hampshire’s Sparsholt College and Devon’s Seale Hayne University. Andrew is also a BASIS Qualified fertilizer advisor, bringing a wealth of knowledge to crop production and farming practices at Highclere Castle.
