Laura Begley Bloom is the founder of Begley Bloom Media, a content-strategy agency that works with media, travel and luxury lifestyle brands to create powerful storytelling, build audiences and drive consumer engagement. 

Before launching Begley Bloom Media, Laura was the editor-in-chief of Yahoo Travel, where she used her skills as a leader, content strategist, and change agent to transform Yahoo Travel into the world’s most-read travel magazine. The North American Travel Journalists Association awarded Yahoo Travel the gold medal for top online travel magazine, under Laura’s leadership. Prior to that, Laura was the deputy editor of Travel + Leisure. She has also been the chief content officer of Family Traveller, travel editor at Condé Nast Brides magazine, a reporter at Money magazine, a stringer for The New York Times, and a contributor at Wallpaper magazine. Journalism is part of Laura’s heritage: her great-great grandfather was a Civil War correspondent for the Chicago Tribune. 

Laura also appears regularly on television, including Weather Channel and CNN, and has spoken at conferences hosted by the Harvard Business School, The New York Times and more.
