James Holland
James Holland is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning historian, author and broadcaster specializing in the history of the Second World War. He is one of Britain's most prominent public historians and has written numerous bestselling books examining military history, warfare and 20th-century history. His works include Battle of Britain, Dam Busters, Burma ‘44, Normandy ‘44, Brothers in Arms, Cassino ‘44 and The Savage Storm.
Beyond publishing, Holland has built a significant career in television, radio and podcasting. He has written and presented documentary programs for broadcasters including the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery and the History Channel. He also co-hosts the highly successful WWII podcast We Have Ways of Making You Talk with comedian and broadcaster Al Murray.
Holland is also co-founder, co-chair and program director of the Chalke History Festival, the UK's largest festival dedicated entirely to history.
