George Sranko
George Sranko is a renowned naturalist and photographer with more than 40 years of experience
writing and speaking about wildlife and the outdoor environment. George’s articles and presentations are based on real-world knowledge and his own adventures in 90+ countries across Africa, Oceania, Central and South America, Asia and Europe. His Google Maps portfolio of photos and videos receives over 1 million views per month and has attracted over 80 million views to date.
He previously served as a British Columbia-based naturalist with Canada’s National Parks, both as a registered professional biologist and as a senior consultant for terrestrial and marine strategies. George has a master’s in environmental governance from Griffith University of Queensland and a bachelor’s in biology from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver.
