Dee retired as Director with Sherritt International Inc. in 2017, and she and her husband Michel spent three years traveling the world with Viking. She loves being at sea, and when on land her passion is geology. In the last two years while travel was interrupted due to Covid, Dee and Michael worked on establishing foundations in support of specific sustainability initiatives.
