Chris Caldicott
Chris Caldicott is a travel writer, photographer and author, who began his life of travel as expedition photographer-in-residence to the Royal Geographical Society, traveling to some of the most wild and inaccessible places on Earth. Using the vast wealth of images and experiences gained on these journeys, he began a new life as an author, lecturer, travel writer and freelance photographer.
He has written several books about travel, global cuisine and the spice trade. As a photographer and journalist, he is a regular contributor to publications such as Vanity Fair, Condé Nast Traveller (UK), The Sunday Times, Harper’s Bazaar, House & Garden, Highlife, Elle and the Telegraph.
Chris has traveled to 133 countries including 79 trips to India alone. He also curates and hosts what he refers to as “authentic local cuisine and creative photography” tours around the globe.
