Guitarist Vincenzo Martinelli began his early musical training on acoustic and electric guitars, studying in both his native Australia and at the Centro Romano Della Chitarra in Rome, Italy, where he studied under the celebrated Maestro Lucio Dosso. He earned a master’s degree in music and then established his musical career by performing across the globe with such international artists as Welsh singing sensation Dame Shirley Bassey.  

In recent years Vincenzo has studied Spanish flamenco and nouveau flamenco guitar styles. He has performed with world-renowned flamenco guitarist Robbie Varga and the acclaimed flamenco dance group La Luna Nueva. 

Today, he maintains a busy touring and recording schedule, including regular performances on board Viking ocean ships. He also recorded an arrangement of Sting’s classic “Fields of Gold” exclusively for Viking.TV.
