Victor Stanciu is one of the faces you meet at the Viking desk when you arrive in Bucharest. For the last 10 years, he has been guiding extensions in his free time, while also working in a corporation. He graduated from medical university and has practiced as a dentist. While life in Bucharest might be fast-paced, Victor likes to slow things down by cooking for his culinary blog or exploring more of his country’s history. The stories he shares on tours are real-life experiences of himself or his family, especially his grandparents who grew up during WWII, and who still share many stories with him when he returns to his childhood home on weekends.
