Tony Waltham, PhD, is a geologist, whose research of caves and geohazards has taken him all over the world, including Tibet, China, Jordan, Italy, Alaska and Kamchatka. Dr. Waltham was a university lecturer in Nottingham, where he taught civil engineers, and has written numerous scientific books and papers illustrated with photographs he has taken himself.
