Norwegian author and journalist Tone Skårdal Tobiasson is an advocate for sustainable fashion and the cofounder of NICE (Nordic Initiative Clean & Ethical) Fashion. As part of her advocacy work, she is currently involved in the following projects: Amazing Grazing, WOOLUME, hiWOOL, LASTING, CHANGE and Wasted Textiles. Tone has coauthored several books including Ren ull, Norsk strikkehistorie and Strikk med norsk ull, as well as the eco-fashion trilogy Lettstelt (Easy Care, 2019), Lettkledd (Well-Dressed, 2020) and Lettfiks (Easy Fix, 2021). She regularly contributes to EcoTextile News and other international publications and is a board member of the Union of Concerned Researchers in Fashion (UCRF). She holds a BA from Stanford University in journalism.
