The daughter of two state opera singers, Silvia Moser made her debut at the Austrian State Opera House at the tender age of five. After completing her studies in singing, she sang in the choir of the State Opera under world-class conductors such as Leonhard Bernstein, Herbert von Karajan and Sir Georg Solti. In 1890, she gained recognition when her band, Blue Danube, placed 8th at the Eurovision Song Contest. This was followed by engagements at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Andopera Houses in Stuttgart and Regensburg, as well as six tours throughout Europe.

In 1998, together with her husband, conductor and pianist Paul Moser, she cofounded the Vienna Residence Orchestra; since then, she has organized more than 850 concerts each year at prestigious institutions, including Liechtenstein Palace, Auersperg Palace, the Vienna Konzerthaus, Vienna Musikverein, the Vienna Stock Exchange and the Lobkowicz Palace.
