Born and raised in Salzburg, Peter Staudinger gained his first experience in the tourism industry when he was a student, financing his Slavic languages studies at Paris Lodron University by working as a guide for a local bus company. In 2006, he received his license to work as a freelance guide in Austria. Peter’s knowledge, passion, humor and love of singing make him a perfect host to share the wonders of Salzburg, the filming location of The Sound of Music.  

Peter is a fan of Mozart and classical music. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, hunting mushrooms and cooking.
