Originally from Denmark, Nina Seffusatti was first drawn to the South of France in 1993 when she decided to settle into family life with her French-born husband and 1-year-old daughter. Seffusatti is a gregarious host who loves to engage people from all over the world with her storytelling—she regularly contributes to the travel website Guide Collective. With her intimate knowledge of Van Gogh, Roman history, arts, cinema and literature, she has had the unique opportunity to work with leading tour operators, including Rick Steves tours, in Scandinavia and France, as well as official guiding roles with Avignon Tourisme, Office de Tourisme of Arles and The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. As a veteran guide who is passionate about travel, Suffusatti attained her master’s degree in Scandinavian and French languages and literature at The University of Copenhagen. This has ultimately led her to becoming a local guide for Viking on our Lyon & Provence and France’s Finest cruise itineraries
