A bagpipe playing Scot with degrees in medicine, physiology and law, Mike Gibson has spent thirty-six years in the Royal Air Force. His responsibilities include being in command of the Defence Services Medical Rehabilitation Unit and being Honorary Surgeon to Her Majesty the Queen. He is the author of two books and over fifty published papers on a variety of subjects. His passions include history, bagpipes, travel and writing.
