Mark Love is a seasoned Viking guest who has enjoyed traveling with us since 2015. Mark and his wife, Kim, have completed an impressive 18 Viking river and ocean journeys (and counting).

Before retiring in 2011, Mark was a social studies teacher in various high schools across Florida and Ohio. During his academic career, he also ran several graduation ceremonies, including the notable one at Cypress Bay High, which had the largest graduating class in the United States that year—more than 1,300 seniors. During his last graduation, Mark’s school hosted then-Vice President Joe Biden as the commencement speaker. That day, Mark had the unique task of coordinating with members of Biden’s team and US Secret Service agents.

Mark holds a bachelor of science degree in social studies education and a master’s degree in secondary administration education from Miami University in Ohio.
