Maria has a BFA from the Corcoran School of Art and Design in Washington, D.C. and has worked as an artist and executive in the telecom industry for over 20 years. Her artwork has been showcased in exhibitions internationally, in the United States, Germany, Ecuador, Bosnia and Croatia. She is the founder of Projekt Postcard, a global art & culture initiative that aims to expand children's vision beyond the limits of their own cultural boundaries and promote unity through art. Maria is a co-founder of the Space for Art Foundation, which unites a planetary community of children through the awe and wonder of space exploration and the healing power of art.
