Kate Jenkins is an innovative British artist known for her unique knitted depictions of popular dishes and
her nostalgic take on everyday items, reinvented with a comedic touch. In 1995, she graduated from the
University of Brighton with a degree in fashion and textile. Before establishing her own fashion and
homeware label in 2003, she was a successful knitting consultant and sold her designs to fashion labels
including Marc Jacobs, Missoni, Sonia Rykiel and Donna Karan. Jenkins now works out of Cardigan, her
studio and shop in Brighton, England, and her work is collected worldwide.
