Jessica Fender is an award-winning travel writer, editor and co-founder of Traveler Broads, a New Orleans–based media platform dedicated to inspiring adventurous, culturally rich travel experiences. Drawing on her background as a journalist, she crafts engaging narratives that highlight destinations through the lens of local culture, history and personal connection. 

Before launching Traveler Broads with fellow journalist Kerry Maloney, Ms. Fender spent more than a decade as a reporter and editor for major US newspapers, including The Times-Picayune in New Orleans. Her work has appeared in national and regional publications, and she has developed a reputation for her sharp storytelling and eye for the offbeat.
