Jean Weilandt started working with river cruise line ships in 2000. Out of a hobby came a passion and since 2008 she has been the owner of Tourtainment Touristic, a tour company that combines guiding and entertainment. Currently, Jean specializes in providing land operations for river cruise lines in fourteen German towns and destinations. All of her partners are handpicked, mentored, coached and supported by long-time trainers and coaches. She scouts around for talent to extend and complete her guide-pool constantly. They sub-contract local coach companies that are family-owned and who share her philosophy of quality, sustainability and passion for what they do. She books restaurants, tickets, shows, artists, classes, locations, tastings and more that enjoy the best local reputation. She develops and offers custom-made events and products—including bicycle tours along the magnificent red sandstone shores of the Main River—and focusses on keeping them exclusive so that her clients are always one step ahead.
