Known as “the first operatic superstar to win over Gen Z” (Telegraph Luxury), Polish countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński has captivated global audiences through his artistry, charisma and versatility. Combining classical training with modern appeal, he is equally celebrated as a singer, model and breakdancer. With “the voice of an angel” (The Sunday Times), Jakub has brought new audiences to the opera world through his dynamic performances, social media presence and collaborations with international brands. 

A graduate of both the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and The Juilliard School in New York, Jakub’s vocal mastery and stage presence have established him as one of the most exciting countertenors of his generation. His live performances—praised as “ravishing” (The Guardian)—have filled opera houses and concert halls across Europe, the United States and beyond. 

Jakub’s multifaceted career also includes modeling and brand collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Levi’s, Nike, BMW, Lacoste, MAC Cosmetics and Netflix. As a breakdancer, he placed 4th in the Red Bull BC One Poland Cypher and 2nd in both the Stylish Strike–Top Rock Contest and The Style Control competition. 

An exclusive recording artist for Warner Classics/Erato, Jakub has released a series of acclaimed albums exploring early and baroque music, including Facce d’amore, Stabat mater, Farewells and Beyond. The latter was named one of The Times’ Best Classical Albums of 2023. His 2024 projects include his directorial debut recording of Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice and a forthcoming album blending baroque and pop instrumentation.
