Dr Günther Mündl
Günther Mündl was born in Germany and grew up in the rural southern region of the country. In this bucolic environment, he became fascinated by the idea of the distant past. Eager to learn more, Günther pursued advanced studies in the fields of history and archaeology culminating in a doctoral degree in medieval and post-medieval archeology from the Otto-Friedrich University in Bamberg.
As an archaeologist working in the region, Günther has participated in excavations and published the fruits of his research in scientific journals. Moreover, Günther has been a tour guide since he was an undergraduate student sharing his specialized knowledge of the region's museums, historic landmarks and archaeological sites. For the past several years, Günther has been employed by the Bavarian Administration of Palaces, Gardens and Lakes as an official tour guide. He currently resides in Würzburg, Germany.
