With their shared passion for travel, Ed & Sheila Davies are loyal Viking guests who have completed a remarkable 39 ocean and river voyages with us. They return again and again to Viking because they enjoy exploring the world in comfort and appreciate the ease of cruise travel. 
 
Now retired, Mr. Davies spent most of his career at British Gas, where he assisted in the design of a handheld terminal for meter readings and the Smartcard gas prepayment meter. During his tenure there, he was honored with two Northeast Excellence Awards. 
 
After spending more than two decades in the gas industry, Mrs. Davies served in the emergency planning division of her local Fire & Rescue in Northumberland, England, for four years before retiring. When she’s not traveling with her husband, Ed, she enjoys the theater, music and the acclaimed TV and film series Downton Abbey.
