Diana Moran

Fitness Expert & Artist

Diana Moran, B.E.M., is an English model, fitness expert and journalist. In the 1960s and 1970s, Moran made her mark as a print and catwalk model. She also graced television screens as a TV announcer and newsreader for HTV West1.

Then, her greatest fame came between 1983 and 1987 when she hosted the popular exercise segment on BBC1’s Breakfast Time program. Clad in her trademark green leotard, she became affectionately known as the “Green Goddess.” The BBC published a book, record and video titled “Get Fit with the Green Goddess” in 1984. Moran’s influence extended beyond the morning show; she presented a daily program on the Overseas Property Channel and was a regular contributor to BBC Breakfast and Five’s The Wright Stuff. In 2007, she even starred in a music video for the band Superthriller, reprising her role as an aerobics instructor. Her most recent contribution to the fitness world was an exercise video series focused on healthy aging, which she launched in partnership with the Royal Society of Osteoporosis.

Beyond her fitness career, Diana Moran is also a passionate artist. She enjoys painting animal life and people with both watercolors and quick-drying acrylics. Her conservatory, bathed in natural light, has become her studio—a testament to her lifelong commitment to staying active and creative.
