David Fantle
David Fantle has been conducting researching, writing and speaking about Hollywood's Golden Age for more than 40 years. His work, mostly done in collaboration with Tom Johnson, has appeared in media outlets around the world. Together, David and Tom have co-authored three books on films and musicals, which have been honored with three Hollywood Heyday book awards.
David has also enjoyed more than 30 years as an award-winning marketing and public relations professional, including a tenure as deputy tourism secretary for the state of Wisconsin. As a member of the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, he earned the Dorothy Thomas Black Award, a lifetime achievement award for superior performance in public relations.
He resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is an adjunct professor in film, pop culture and public relations at Marquette University.
