David Burgess is a well-respected history and destination speaker with over seventeen years of high-end cruise ship lecturing experience. David is a former radio presenter and producer for independent local radio, which ultimately led him to a new career as a college lecturer specializing in radio production and radio journalism. David has also worked with non-profit organizations helping them to set up and develop community radio stations and associated training courses in his home county of Merseyside. After a fifteen-year career in education, David is now retired and along with his wife, Zareena, indulges in their lifelong passion for travel and discovery. David has also written his first novel, The Samsara Project, which reached number four in the Amazon download charts. He is now trying to find the time to write a second.
