Anna McHugh
Anna McHugh leads corporate communications at An Post, the Irish Postal Service and post office network, where she has spent much of her career in a variety of press and PR-related roles. Her areas of responsibility include media and public relations, public affairs and internal communications. She also oversees the Irish language and heritage initiative and is responsible for the design and production of Ireland’s National Stamp Program.
A native of Dublin, she studied English and history at University College, Dublin, followed by public relations at the Technical University of Dublin. She is a director of the GPO Museum and a fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland. Her ancestral roots are in County Galway on the west coast of Ireland.
