Composer, violinist and pianist Alma Deutscher began playing the piano at age two and the violin at age three. She completed her first piano sonata at age six, and at seven she composed a short opera. At 12, she completed her first piano concerto, which premiered in Austria to the jubilation of both the public and the press. Alma’s full‑length opera, Cinderella, has been performed in Israel, Austria and the US to standing ovations and international critical acclaim. Alma and her family are close friends of Viking Chairman Torstein Hagen, and consider him their adopted grandfather.
